The apocalyptic non-winter of 2026 has forced the management of the Los Angeles Marathon, being run right now, to offer an option to finish at mile 18 and still get medals and certification of full participation. This is after yet another prediction of 90-degree (F) temperatures. These have been happening on a pretty much weekly basis since the first week of the year. Normal high temperature for this time of year is around 68. That's a night temperature this year.
Keep telling me climate change is a liberal lie, so I can laugh in your face.

If the heat aint bad enough, trump administration and bibi netanyahu caused an environmental catastrophe last night and today that resulted in toxic black rain this morning in Iran.

Thick black clouds and oil‑saturated rain shrouded Iran’s capital Sunday morning. CNN's Fred Pleitgen reports.

Oh, all these wars dump gigatons of pollution into the atmosphere on a regular basis. The biggest polluter in the world is the President of the United States, whoever he is for this year's war.
No one is quite sure why there was no winter in LA this year. It seems to relate to unprecedented warming in the Pacific Ocean. This also appears to have caused the polar vortex to collapse, which led to the unusually strong storms in the eastern US. The whole winter has confounded everyone with Ph.D.s in meteorology, since it started out as a La Nina year. Sea temperatures should have been abnormally low, not abnormally high. Whoever writes the definitive paper on this will be in the running for a Nobel.
It would seem that the climate change people got it right, and we have rebooted the planet.
