2025 MLB offseason manager changes: Tracking hirings, firings
The first managerial change of the 2025-26 MLB offseason came when the San Francisco Giants dismissed Bob Melvin. The move was followed by the Minnesota Twins firing Rocco Baldelli later Monday afternoon. The Texas Rangers announced Monday that Bruce Bochy will not return.
The Rangers and Giants both ended the regular season with 81-81 records, while Minnesota made its change after finishing 70-92.
