5 killed in small plane crash in Central Texas, authorities say
Authorities are investigating a deadly aircraft crash near Wimberley, Texas, that killed five people late Thursday night.
Hays County Judge Ruben Becerra said emergency crews were dispatched around 11:05 p.m. following reports of a downed aircraft in the area. The plane, identified as a Cessna 421C, crashed with five individuals on board. All five occupants were confirmed dead at the scene.

Crash of skydiving plane kills 12 in Butler, Missouri, authorities say
A plane crash at Butler Memorial Airport on Sunday killed 12 people, including a pilot and 11 skydivers, according to Bates County authorities.
The crash happened during takeoff and was reported about 11:27 a.m., Bates County Sheriff Chad Anderson said in a news conference Sunday afternoon. The plane was a locally-based, 10-person aircraft. The airport is about an hour’s drive south of Kansas City.

US Air Force was testing a new anti-spoof radar for the B-52 so they could keep using a 60-year-old aircraft design to kill whoever the president orders them to. It didn't go well. The smoke plume mixed with the several brush fires to make for a rather smoky day in northern LA County. The Air Force was still contacting next of kin at last report, so they're not saying anything.

PARIS (AP) — A founder of global gaming company Ubisoft, maker of Assassin’s Creed, was killed in a plane crash in western France, authorities said Saturday.
The twin-motor Cessna 421 carrying Claude Guillemot and a flight instructor crashed Friday evening near La Baule airport on the Atlantic coast, Mayor Franck Louvrier said in a statement. Both were licensed and experienced pilots. The instructor also was killed, the mayor said. An investigation is underway.
