Important Night in American History

It is so odd that after almost 250 years a presidential debate is one of the most important events in US History.

We already know exactly what Trump is going to do and say. Basically rinse and repeat. We don't know if the moderators are going to interject or interfere. Or how he will react if they do.

Personally I believe if they do it will only help Trump. As it will appear that the press is ganging up on him and supporting Harris.
I also believe it is Harris job to go after him when he spouts his usual nonsense. Not the moderators.

As for Harris she can and will win or lose the election tonight, again in my opinion.
If goes off on one of her word salad adventures she will lose. If she gives relatively short and precise answers and looks informed and presidential she will win.

The other upcoming debates won't matter. It's that old clichés about one chance to make a first impression.

As for the debate format. I believe it helped Trump against Biden. Tonight I believe it will favor Harris by helping her to keep her answers and rebuttal tight and more precise.
I also believe the questions will be designed to be more in her wheelhouse which will also help.

Lastly she basically just needs to let Trump ramble and look like a fool while once again keeping her answers on topic.
