Is he a liar? Do you know better than he does?

Takeaways from Kamala Harris’ CNN town hall

(CNN) — Over and over, Vice President Kamala Harris argued at a CNN town hall Wednesday night that Republican rival Donald Trump is “unstable” and “unfit to serve.”

The Democratic nominee’s message in the closing weeks 2024 presidential race is squarely focused on warning Americans – particularly undecided independents and moderate Republicans – that Trump poses a threat to the nation’s core principles.

Harris to give her campaign’s closing argument at the Ellipse, where Trump helped spark Capitol riot

ASTON, Pa. (AP) — Vice President Kamala Harris plans to lay out her campaign’s closing argument by returning to the site near the White House where Donald Trump helped incite a mob that attacked the U.S. Capitol in January 2021 — hoping it will crystalize for voters the fight between defending democracy and sowing political chaos.

Her campaign says Harris will give a speech at the Ellipse on Tuesday — one week before Election Day — and will urge the nation to “turn the page” toward a new era and away from Trump.

I saw Mrs Walz speech on turn the page and found the idea to be very good. However Mrs Walz isn't a very compelling public speaker and should keep her comments brief.

You know what gets me about the right's views of Harris? They aren't realistic.

Let's look at the last two elections - First, we WON both elections by popular vote. Trump only drew an inside straight to win the EC in 2016.

Hillary was a terrible candidate that was widely reviled, and even had tepid support among Dems.

Biden was a lackluster candidate who wasn't Trump. That was what won it for him.

Harris is a good candidate - one of the two best candidates this century, right behind Obama. Of course, being black AND a woman means many people won't vote for her for that reason.

But she has FAR more pluses as a candidate than our last two.

And look how many mainstream Republicans are supporting Harris. Never happened before.

But God forbid any of our righties admit that.

4 takeaways from Harris's 'closing argument address' at the Ellipse

With just one week to go until Election Day, Vice President Kamala Harris delivered on Tuesday what her campaign called a “closing argument address” from the Ellipse in Washington, D.C., in which she pledged to “always put country above party and above self.”

While Donald Trump rallied supporters Tuesday night in Allentown, Pa., the setting for Harris’s speech carried its own message. It was in the same spot where on Jan. 6, 2021, then President Donald Trump exhorted his followers to “fight like hell” and march to the Capitol building to protest the congressional certification of his Electoral College loss in 2020 to Joe Biden. A deadly riot ensued, with Trump watching the mayhem from the White House, that delayed the proceedings by several hours before Biden was officially confirmed as the 46th U.S. president.

Harris is as weak as water. People aren't voting for her they are voting against Trump.
If Harris wins you can thank Republicans for voting against Trump.

An actual strong candidate would have a double digit lead. As opposed to being tied and down to 7 states.

BTW which of those 7 states do you personally think Harris will win?

Harris is the real deal, but you wouldn't know from the coverage. I would imagine she's put more felons in jail than all the law 'n' order GOP candidates put together.

That's not to difficult against a public defender or an underfunded defense. In fact most cases never go to trial and are pleaded out.

Misdemeanors for time served in the county. Felonies time served in the county plus probation. Unless you are a repeat customer then it's time served plus a short stay in state prison.

Of course with more serious crimes ot is different. Those criminals know they are going away. So they muster up the bail money and enjoy life until the trial.

I've only known one murderer. He got a new trial after a few years and was found not guilty. Seems most of the witnesses from the first trial weren't available.

Nice guy we had a clandestine car lot together.

What bullshit, but then you attack any Republican that speaks out against Trump. But you don’t support him oh no you don’t.

The only weakness Harris has is her race and gender. Why Republicans won’t vote for her.

What I said is a mathematical fact.

Running against Trump she is tied. That is by definition a weak candidate.
Evidently democrats won't vote for her either. She was among the first to drop out 4 years ago.

If you weren't desperate and knew you are wrong you wouldn't have needed to play the race gender card

We’ll see what happens Tuesday. You don’t care what happens, you’ll always attack Harris.

I mean, she could win over 300 EVs, win the popular vote by five percent, and we could control the House and Senate, and you’d still run her down.

It’s what you do.

She’s the BEST candidate on EITHER side of the isle this century, save Barack Obama.

Says the man who claimed Joe Biden is an all time great.
She is a weak candidate who is struggling against perhaps the worst president in US history.

She has never won a state primary let alone the national primary. She is the person who was fortunate enough to be in the right place at the right time.

There is a far better chance that she will rival both Trump and Biden as being horrible Presidents than her being even average.

We shall see and personally I hope she is as great as Ronald Reagan. However we all know that no matter what you will praise her every move. Because you are always loyal to dear leader.

I dunno who wins POTUS. Could go either way. I’m hoping the legislative elections at least split the Congress which will have a moderating influence over whomever wins. Then whomever gets elected gets to show us all if they are a unifier like both are claiming. I don’t see it but hope to be pleasantly surprised.

What the fuck?

Where the HELL is Trump claiming to be a unifier? You are just fucking delusional in your attempt to pretend you aren't a Trump supporter.

Where is Harris being a unifier? When she calls Trump a fascist or when she is silent about Biden calling them garbage.

Every person running for President except maybe Trump had said they want to be a unifier. In the Trump campaign it has been Vance saying it.
