Even Mahomes pointed out that Mahomes mentioned the Cincinnati Mayor coming after him. It's a rooking mistake, for sure, but then, not as bad a mistake as making a flagrant hit on a QB out of bounds that was a personal foul that turned a long-just-barely-in-the-kickers-range field goal into a chip shot.

The mayor needs to up his game, and do things like, if the Bengals win, the KC mayor has to come and eat some chili spags, and it the Chiefs win, he has to go and eat some KC BBQ. But NOOOOOO!

BTW, I know Glenn will check, and the mayor is a Dem. That's the difference between us, Glenn. You'd NEVER say such a thing about a Republican.
I heard the Cincinnati mayor's comments maybe 6 tines yesterday. It was all tongue in cheek and very amusing

No, it's not something that a mayor should be making. Maybe some idiot on sports talk, but not a mayor. He proved himself an idiot.

Early super bowl pick and no I will not be betting on the game. But, if I were to bet I would take the Chiefs plus the 1.5 points.

While Philadelphia QB Hurts might rush 11 times for 122 yards and 2 touchdowns I believe the KC defense will figure out a way to corral him.
One if the things I look for when betting is which team has the best QB and best coach. In this case it is KC which has both.
Which is why if I were going to bet I would bet on KC.
Layer on I will post my two team teaser pick

Look, I know you are absorbed with gambling, but gambling is really bad for sports, and for our nation. We've crossed over the line. With the sports leagues now being bankrolled by gambling interests, it's going to, more and more, affect the games themselves. Mark my words, there will soon be some huge scandal involving sports betting.

And on the game, we'll see. I am a Mahomes fan, but Mahomes is battered and he lost several receivers. We'll see how healed they are in two weeks. The funny thing is that you pretend you know everything about the game, and you don't. If Mahomes is hurt again and leaves the game, that changes everything. There are too many crazy variables to have any idea who will win, and you pretend you DO know. Which shows how full of shit you are.

The Philadelphia QB has been playing with an injured shoulder.

So? HE may be injured in the game, too. just more proof that anyone telling anyone how this game will end and they have a system to tell is just full of shit.

Hitting 6 of 7 or whatever the number is doesn't prove anything to you.
Its not a system it is a breakdown of numbers and of facts.
In this case either team could win by 1 or win by 20. Which is why I won't be placing any wagers on the game.
I do however have an interest in 11 squares on 2 boards with a friend of mine. Just a little something to keep the game interesting.

There ARE no facts of how the ball bounces. Or if a young, excited man hits Mahomes out of bounds and gives KC a chip shot, so you can say “you see I’m sooooo smart I called the game, I knew KC would win!”

You could not be more wrong. Yes some games like Michigan are decided by a bounce.
Others like the KC/CIN game are decided by bad or missed calls.
Nothing is 100pct. But, if you believe sports handicapping is basically flipping a coin you couldn't be more wrong.
You handicap the teams in order to give yourself a better chance at winning.

But you pretend you KNOW who’s going to win. You think you’re smarter than anyone else.

But the KC game wasn’t solely decided on missed calls. That’s false to say so.

It kinda was on the last play where the Cincinnati player was called for a late hit. There was a blatant holding in the KC backfield which wasn't called.
Had it been called or the KC guy hadn't held the game would have went to OT.

The hit was blatant and HAD to be called. And on almost EVERY play, holding could be called. I saw a piece with the head of officiating saying that they were borderline at best.

Holding is one of those problem calls in the NFL. But the late hit on a GB wasn’t.

They have shown the holding multiple times. It was blatant and obvious. Had it not been at end of the game it would have been called

Okay, you’re right. The zebras had it in for the Bengals and stole the game.

Whatever.

Well would you look at that I also got the Super Bowl correct.
Making me undefeated in the NFL playoffs. After going 1and 1 in the college playoffs

Total record something like 7 and 1. I guess GoU is now ready to admit that there is such a thing as sports handicapping and that it tremendously helps sports gambling.

How hilarious. The game hinged on one penalty. And you're so egotistical that you pretend that you foresaw that.

Of course, idiot Eagle fans are screaming "WE WUZ ROBBED!" But no, it was holding, and even the Eagle admitted he held.

But it was a great game between two GREAT teams, and more importantly, two GREAT QB's. When Mahomes came up lame at the end of the half, I thought the game was over. But, great player that he is, he overcame.

This is why sports handicapping is guesswork. What if Mahomes had instead been carted off? What if the pick six fumble recovery been upheld? You want to pretend you know before the game who will win, or what the score will be, you don't.

You were given the chance to predict, BEFORE THE PLAYOFFS STARTED, who would be in the Super Bowl, and who would win the Super Bowl. You ran away from that, you gutless worm. So, no, you weren't perfect, you ran away. Plus, you were mealy-mouthed in your predictions.

And interesting for handicappers - the Chiefs gave up points - not taking a touchdown that they could have had. So much for point spreads. The NFL shouldn't be in the gambling business.

I was atca party and the halftime show was on but, nobody was watching it intensly.

And there you go again with the trump/Glenn bullshit.

I and you are definitely not in the demographic of Rhianna music or the show. So while I did watch it casually in really didn't interest me.
But, I was and am confused as to what the imagery of the dancers was supposed to represent

And many of those games could have went either way based on fouls or ball bounces.

The sports leagues should get out of the gambling business. It won’t end well.

Woody Hayes! The one time UCLA managed to get to the Rose Bowl, we beat his sorry ass all the way back to Ann Arbor. I was there.

Yeah if I was casting Woody Hayes, and I thought drumpf could take direction, which he most likely can't despite his sterling performance on The Apprentice where after all he played himself, I'd cast him. However I like it when shows get made on time and relatively in-budget, and his shows don't. They make a lot of footage that would be instant death if included in the final cut.
