The constitution does not give lifetime appointments to SCOTUS justices or any other federal judge. Their position is dependent upon “good behavior”. Thomas’s refusal to recused himself from any case or issue where his wife is involved in the failed insurrection is a gross example of not acting with “good behavior”.
The constitution provides for the impeachment of Supreme Court justices. The procedure is the same as for the president, and it is successful about as often.

If we survive next month in tact, and I dont think we will, either we increase the court or impeach the 3 liars or the SC will end everything, down to SS and Medicare. Everything.

Fencesitting when fascism, segregationism, one-partyism, or any other kind of totalitarianism or authoritarianism in in question, is enabling.

I did, thanks for asking. Was in the middle of a very intense business meeting, so it was a little surreal. But all is well, thank you.
Glad to hear I always wanted to feel what a quake would be like. But, am glad I never did.
Turns out what Senator Graham did is nothing more than standard operating procedure and any of the justices would have granted the stay.
At least that is what Michaelangelo Signorelli said. He also said that Thomas should have recused himself and let a different justice handle it.

A constitutional issue raised by a member of congress properly handled by the SC.
Thomas only shut up because he was vastly outnumbered. He shouldn't have even been ruling on the case, since his wife was hip deep in the insurrection plans.
It's not really my place to call for his impeachment.
All I know is that the country's commitment to law, order, justice has taken a real beating the last several years as though it was slogans without meaning.

For we so-called minorities, it's only been in the past generation that it wasn't slogans without meaning ijs.
Law, order, and justice for us has always meant the iron fist of vicious whites-rule conservatism.

“ The unsigned order said that the lower courts assumed that Graham, as a sitting senator, was immune from questioning under the Constitution's so-called Speech or Debate Clause for any fact-finding efforts in which he engaged and that he may legally contest any disputes arising from specific questions.
"Accordingly, a stay or injunction is not necessary to safeguard the Senator's Speech or Debate Clause immunity," the order said.“
