Paragraph 7
How does one article prove anything? Here’s an op/ed by Lawrence Tribe in the WaPo urging Garland to appoint a Special Prosecutor in March 2022. So I guess someone DID suggest it. https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions ... sel-trump/

But you are just covering the fact that you would be against Garland doing anything against Trump. You just said that because you were sure he WOULDN’T bring charges.

It just shows that everyone was surprised by the move.
What surprised me is how political it was I didn't think Garland was like that.
He obviously nade the descion way before he announced it. But, waited until it would not hurt democrats on election day.

No, you said no one saw it coming. Of course they did.

And you have your excuse to stand against Garland and stand up for Trump.

Look, you’re the one that said no one ever saw it coming. And do you watch every political talk show?

I mean, I could look up where it was talked about on Meet the Press last year. You don’t watch that show. You don’t know WHAT is talked about on political talk shows. I could show you article after article, and you’ll still pretend it didn’t happen, because you’re looking for an excuse to piss backwards. Here’s the TRUTH - you made this promise to me when everyone on the left and this board was slamming Garland because it looked like he wasn’t going to go after Trump.

And you were convinced he wasn’t. So, you went after me for attacking Garland. Except I didn’t. I said I thought he was methodical, and would take his time and follow the evidence. Of course, you think that Trump is innocent. So, you said you’d support Garland no matter what he did.

And the FIRST thing he did against Trump, appoint a Special Prosecutor when Trump announced to run for President, was to attack Garland.

Just like I said you would.

This news just broke. What's interesting is Meadows has been quiet for quite some time.

Exclusive: Trump chief of staff Mark Meadows subpoenaed by special counsel in Jan. 6 investigation

CNN

Donald Trump’s former chief of staff Mark Meadows has been subpoenaed by the special counsel investigating the former president and his role in the January 6, 2021, insurrection, a source familiar with the matter told CNN.

Special counsel Jack Smith’s office is seeking documents and testimony related to January 6, and Meadows received the subpoena sometime in January, the source said. An attorney for Meadows declined to comment.

The Justice Department did not respond to CNN’s request for comment on the subpoena

You can sit there and pretend you knew a special prosecutor was going to be appointed.
You can sit there and pretend that when I said I would accept whatever Garland decided that I was not talking about whether to indict or not to indict.
But at the end of the day we all know that the special prosecutor surprised you, me and just about everyone else.
While I do not like the 100pct political nature of how he went about it and I was very surprised not realizing that Garland was just another political hack.
All that being said Smith is the right guy for the job and I will accept any descion he makes to indict or not to indict.
Something you refuse to say about the special prosecutor investigating democrats.

Pence has also been subpoenaed and plans to fight it. Good luck. Lindsey Graham already tried this move and failed. Innocent people don’t fight subpoenas related to crimes.

Exactly my point on the other thread. It isn't the job of a county prosecutor to go after a former president or a legitimate candidate from a major party for campaign crimes.

It is the job for prosecutor's much further down the trough. At the very least a state prosecutor. Certainly not a county prosecutor, what next mayor's court

Tough. It's not up to you to decide how the law works. And it doesn't matter that Trump is a former president. No other former president attempted to overthrow an election like he did. And as far as legitimate candidates, you're once again repeating Trump. He put in his bid early to for that very reason, to attempt to dodge the law by claiming he's a candidate. And you buy it.

You are missing or intentionally not getting my point.
It is not the job of a county prosecutor to go after a president or a presidential candidate over campaign abuses.
That is the job for state or federal prosecutors. All the Georgia prosecutor is doing is attempting to feather their own nest.
It has nothing to do whether or not Trump is a current candidate or former candidate.
That prosecutor is wasting time and resources for personal gain.
A trial and the investigation will cost millions. If convicted there will be no penalty.
This is a job for state or federal professionals, not some two bit fish swimming in a small pond.
This prosecutor has opened up a can of worms that we all will come to regret

This is a state issue. She represents the state. A grand jury has been empaneled. The person who opened a can of worms here is Donald Trump and Donald Trump is the one who set a bad precedent by attempting to overthrow the election and interfering in GA. But of course, as per usual with you Donald Trump is never to blame and it's someone else's fault.

Tell you what. Instead of complaining to me or the board about how Trump is being dealt with in GA, go write or attempt to call Fanni Willis and complain to her about how unfairly you think Donnie and friends are being treated for committing serious election crimes in the state of Georgia. Because complaining here doesn't mean jack shit.

I've never been against special prosecutors, though the investigation into Clinton was a shit show.

You attacked Garland on his decision - when it was a probable outcome when Trump announced he was running for President. Whether he would name a prosecutor was discussed from the beginning. You only said you'd support whatever Garland would do when it looked like he wasn't going to do anything.

And you'll attack Smith if he indicts. Your word is worthless.

Jan. 6 rioter who threatened Rep. Ocasio-Cortez sentenced to 38 months in prison

A Jan. 6 rioter who threatened Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on social media after having participated in the attack on the Capitol was sentenced Wednesday to 38 months in prison.

Prosecutors had asked for a sentence of 48 months in prison for Garret Miller, an unemployed Texan who, they noted, was wearing a T-shirt bearing President Donald Trump's picture and the words “I was there, Washington, D.C., January 6, 2021" when he was arrested weeks after the attack.

Yep. Pence was most likely in on it till he wasn’t. He apparently called Dan Quayle for the advice that changed his mind.

Manafort seems to be one big missing piece of the Ukraine puzzle. It turns out that he was the point man for the Putin stooge with the private zoo and artificial lake who got voted out of the Ukraine presidency, starting the problem. Reliable history indicates that Manafort lost his nice semi-legal gig over there, and resurfaced as drumpf's campaign guru.

The rest can be found in testimony to various Congressional committees.

Wouldn't it be funny if my original analysis was the right one, and the moving finger writes that drumpf was part of Putin's plan to absorb Ukraine a piece at a time, and when drumpf lost, Putin decided to invade?

Revealed: Jim Jordan's FBI 'whistleblowers' were paid by Trump ally and spread J6 conspiracy theories

A trio of witnesses being called as "whistleblowers" by the GOP committee investigating the "weaponization" of government were paid off by a Trump ally and spread conspiracy theories, reported The New York Times on Thursday.

"The first three witnesses to testify privately before the new Republican-led House committee investigating the 'weaponization' of the federal government have offered little firsthand knowledge of any wrongdoing or violation of the law, according to Democrats on the panel who have listened to their accounts," reported Luke Broadwater and Adam Goldman. "Instead, the trio appears to be a group of aggrieved former F.B.I. officials who have trafficked in right-wing conspiracy theories, including about the Jan. 6, 2021, attack at the Capitol, and received financial support from a top ally of former President Donald J. Trump."
