Nets briefly put Barclays Center on lockdown after protest for Kyrie Irving turns ugly

Kyrie Irving was neither seen nor heard at the Brooklyn Nets' home opener on Sunday, but the effects of his decision to refuse to get vaccinated were on full display.

Ahead of the game, a large group of vaccine mandate protesters appeared outside the Barclays Center, demanding Irving be allowed to play NBA games again. Even though he is barred from only Nets home games due to New York protocols, the Nets have announced Irving will not play until the situation is resolved.

They sent him home a couple of weeks age because he won't get vaccinated.
He legally isn't allowed in the Barclay center because of his vaccination status.
He is also a flat earther no joke
But before anyone trashes Irving he is an intense guy who has always shown some sort of mental unbalance. Not unlike Jimmy Piersal and a few other athletes

There are more flat earthers around than you might think. And yes, they do tend to heavily skew right. There aren't any hard poll numbers, but a good guess would be somewhere under five percent. Maybe one or two percent. But it does seem to be growing at at a fast clip. I think the whole QAnon thing fuels such thought.
