Kings Claim UFL Throne, Conquer Defenders in Instant Classic
WASHINGTON, D.C. – June 13, 2026 – In their inaugural season, the Louisville Kings are United Bowl Champions, as they defeated the DC Defenders 27-20. Head coach Chris Redman delivered a championship to his hometown in just his first year at the helm.
Despite struggling throughout the first half, a second-half explosion powered Louisville to its sixth straight victory. Ian Wheeler, who scored the go-ahead touchdown, was named United Bowl MVP.
