A Dead Thread is probably the best we can do on this subject. As the population increases and the media demand more names in the Nooz, we will ultimately have one of these people dying every single day, and increasingly more than one.
Some people get really worked up about this stuff. In LA they sell dead celebrity grave maps. Tourists from all over the world visit local cemeteries and take pictures of the graves. Some even leave flowers.
I support the idea of a Dead Thread. It will satisfy the people who insist on cataloging everyone who we've ever heard of kicking the bucket, and those who find it all a bit maudlin can just skip it.
