We are in another futile Forever War in the Middle East. Business is as usual in the DC war cabal. Trump is tweeting from his favorite spot on the shitter. Schumer is already equivocating. Hegseth is likely already bragging about the size of his balls. Maybe he'll get a new tattoo to mark the occasion.

Americans will die. Money will go for air strikes and troop movements instead of helping the poor. They've already killed 85 civilians in a girl's school they "accidentally" bombed in a neutral country.

In a couple of years, people will wonder what the hell we were thinking.

No one wanted it except Benjamin Netanyahu and Donald Trump.

At least Netanyahu did not lie about it.

Trump did.

Americans will die. The economy will tank. The Middle East will have another round of violence with large piles of dead civilians. Nothing will come of it except a guarantee of more wars in the future.

There is, of course, already the idea that the whole thing is to distract from Epstein. It won't even do that very well.

It always seems to figure that the war against them, no matter who them are, is also a war against us as it is fueled by our tax dollars and young people otherwise known as our future and hope. As it grows in the war over there through dead mangled bodies and destruction, wherever there is, it grows through regression and decline here.

If we bring judgement into it I think the judgement is love and to love one another to have and use and heal from all the gifts of mercy, forgiveness, grace, love and redemption. The difference between that judgement and the counter judgment that leads us to senseless never-ending war is that that judgement is cursed because of expelling all those good things and by expelling all those good things.

So far trumps war is illegal, unconstitutional, immoral, and condemned by the U.N. and the tears are falling as the bodies are piling up.

1. Two likely terrorist attacks today. One was at a synagogue in MI by a (now dead) perp who drove into the building with a gun and explosives, before he was shot dead by security guards. The driver had a history of links to known Islamic terrorist organizations, and had done time for other such activities. The other attack was at a technical school somewhere, where someone with SUSPECTED terrorist links shot two people before being killed by unknown personnel.

2. CNN, not exactly a wild-eyed sleeper cell, asserts that two additional crimes over the weekend had terrorist ties. These were attacks over the weekend that CNN claims were by Islamic terrorist followers. No further details, no confirmation. Could be more CNN agitprop.

3. A new draft for a war that 25-30% of people in polls support would trigger an insurrection in the US. I suspect that it would lead to a general collapse of order, one way or another. There is a precedent, sort of, in the 1863 New York Draft Riots, though these were actually racially motivated.

The problem with the draft, other than those who are in the lower- and middle-income groups being the ones drafted, is so many draftees won't want to be in the military and they'll cause problems for everyone else in the military. While in the AF, we used to say 80% of the problems were caused by 20% of the people. Those 20% took up too much of our time and that was in peacetime and with an all voluntary military.
