ICE Wants to Build Out a 24/7 Social Media Surveillance Team
United States immigration authorities are moving to dramatically expand their social media surveillance, with plans to hire nearly 30 contractors to sift through posts, photos, and messages—raw material to be transformed into intelligence for deportation arrests and raids.
Federal contracting records reviewed by WIRED show the agency is seeking private vendors to run a multi-year surveillance program out of two of its little-known targeting centers. The program envisions stationing nearly 30 private analysts at Immigration and Customs Enforcement facilities in Vermont and Southern California. Their job: Scour Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms, converting posts and profiles into fresh leads for enforcement raids.

Over 200 ICE recruits dismissed because ICE brought the recruits in before vetting them. Many of the recruits had criminal convictions, couldn't pass the drug test, or couldn't pass the physical and academic requirements.
More than 200 new Immigration and Custom Enforcement agent recruits have been dismissed as the Trump administration ramps up hiring at the agency, NBC News reported exclusively on Wednesday.
The agency has reportedly brought in new recruits before they completely pass the vetting process. After bringing some recruits on, ICE officials have realized that they didn’t pass the drug test, have criminal backgrounds, or fall short of the physical and academic conditions, the report said.

An Instagram account that appears to be Good’s describes her as a “poet and writer and wife and mom and shitty guitar strummer from Colorado; experiencing Minneapolis, MN.”
Good had previously been married to Timmy Ray Macklin Jr., who died in 2023 at the age of 36. Macklin’s father, Timmy Ray Macklin Sr., was shocked to hear the news that Good had been shot and killed.
He said Good and his son had a child who is now 6 years old......

Good was murdered in cold blood by a ICE Nazi thug. She leaves behind a 6 year old child who is now an orphan. There are multiple videos from multiple angles. The Nazis are trying to spin reality and claim she tried to run the agent over despite clear video evidence that this isn’t the case.
