Fail they will, because the mad dance of the climate is coming, and they tried to tell us it was a liberal lie.

The price of oranges and orange juice will be going up because of Trump. Immigrant farm workers are skipping work worried they could be caught up in Trump's crackdown on illegal immigration.
NBC Bay Area reports that the citrus harvest in California's Central Valley has been "virtually halted" because migrant farmworkers have skipped work en masse in the wake of Trump's sweeping executive orders cracking down on undocumented immigrants.

The report notes that the timing of Trump's actions has been particularly troublesome for Central Valley farms because it's currently "the peak of citrus harvest season," which means that grocery stores could soon be hit with shortages of fruits such as oranges.

Monterey County Farm Bureau Executive Director Norm Groot tells NBC Bay Area that he's "certainly very concerned about what is happening and how that is unfolding" and added that immigrant workers are "not going to show up for work and that means crops will remain in the field and not be harvested and probably lost at that point."

Remember when people blamed Biden for the rising cost of eggs? Biden didn't cause the price increase, it was the bird fly that resulted in the killing of 10s of millions of chickens that cause it. Now, it's Trump's turn but this time the blame lies squarely on him. Let's remind people of this when they complain about the cost of oranges and orange juice.

Biden had nothing to do with the price of eggs. In the current media environment, all lies stick to Democrats. Rubber, glue. Bad news, regardless of the real cause, doesn't stick to Republicans. It bounces off and sticks to Democrats. It's the media, again.

That's because the media caters to the republicans and spreads their lies. The biggest lie republicans conned Americans with is that the media has a liberal bias.

US judge temporarily blocks Trump's order restricting birthright citizenship

SEATTLE — A federal district court judge on Thursday temporarily blocked President Donald Trump’s executive order aimed at limiting birthright citizenship — the first skirmish in what promises to be a protracted legal battle over the new administration’s agenda.

Senior U.S. District Judge John C. Coughenour heard 25 minutes of arguments and then issued an order from the bench blocking the policy from taking effect for 14 days. There will be a further briefing on a preliminary injunction to permanently block the executive order while the case proceeds.

Newt Gingrich wrote the book on the subject. I forget its title, but it firmly established the Republican strategy of taking over the government by taking over the means of information. Anyone who worked in media was onto this game immediately, but no one else cared. Now it's a done deal.

Newt Gingrich is now doing infomercials for scam home protection insurance. Once a huckster, always a huckster.

'Interrupted by boos': GOP lawmaker confronted by 'angry crowd' in 'deep red' Texas county

Rep. Keith Self (R-TX) was met with chants of "do your job" at a town hall on Saturday.

Self is just the latest to receive such treatment, coming the same day as Sen. Roger Marshall (R-KS) was called a coward as he departed the stage at a town hall in Kansas over the weekend where he was asked about how federal cuts are harming veterans.

Kansas senator's rural town hall meeting swamped by people mad at Trump administration

OAKLEY, Kansas — Critics of actions by president Donald Trump shouted down Republican Sen. Roger Marshall at a town hall meeting in rural Kansas Saturday, causing the senator to end the meeting and leave as people shouted, booed and said “you’re not done.”

President Donald Trump won the rural northwest Kansas county of Logan with 85% of the vote. But opponents of the president’s recent actions and concerned Kansans from as far as Overland Park trekked to the small town of Oakley to voice their anger.

The glaring contradiction inherent in the concept of campaigning as populists and then giving the world's richest man dictatorial powers when he wasn't even on the ballot is enough to anger a lot of the Republican core. They thought they were getting lower prices and less bureaucracy. They got screwed up their posteriors.

The proliferation of spontaneous demonstrations at Tesla dealers in "red" states is one manifestation of the fact that only some people keep quiet when an unelected billionaire is so obviously in charge of everything following the unmistakable revelation of who the power structure is right now. It's also an indicator that the conservative ideology has over-reached in telling the people that it will make them wealthy and free, when all they get in the real world is some dorky clown from South Africa with too much money peddling expensive dumb looking electric cars and telling them to shut up and be led around by the rings implanted in their noses, while he spends their money on sex and overhyped space ventures.

FDIC moves to roll back merger policy that scrutinized larger deals

March 3 (Reuters) - The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation's board of directors approved a proposal Monday to roll back a Biden-era policy that ramped up the scrutiny of large bank mergers, the agency said in a statement on Monday.

The proposal will temporarily reinstate the merger policy that was in effect prior to 2024 as the FDIC conducts a broader reevaluation of its bank merger review process, the agency said.

But who's in charge of the airlines now Team Trump.

NTSB blames private jet’s crew for near-miss at Chicago airport

The head of the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has pinned blame on the near-collision at a Chicago airport earlier this week on the crew of the private jet that passed in front of a landing Southwest flight.

“We don’t believe that this was an air traffic control issue. It appears this was a failure of the flight crew from Flexjet to listen and abide by the instructions of air traffic control,” NTSB Chair Jennifer Homendy said Wednesday on “Fox & Friends.”

Stock market has tanked. Guess he's not good for the economy after all. The inflationary impact of the tariffs will be quick and spectacular. So much for the price of eggs. Doesn't bode well for auto sales either.

Eggs are a distraction, because the inflation is caused by bird flu but the bought off media won't tell you that. So far Trump's only recommendation is to raise chickens in your back yard. Maybe drink bleach too.

Autos are going to become breathtakingly expensive. Even if the assembly plants are in the US, they basically serve to bolt together subassemblies contracted out to cheaper labor in Canada and Mexico. I haven't seen anything about these being exempt, so now you can drive to the poorhouse.

Well if the tariffs aren't there to pressure the auto industry to manufacture and employ domestically then what are they there for? Just so business can raise prices domestically and normalize the price increases?

Trump: Detroit automakers get 30-day reprieve from Canada, Mexico tariffs
.....Ford has been the most vocal of the Detroit automakers about its appeal to Washington to reconsider tariffs. As the Free Press has reported, Bill Ford has talked about his phone conversations with Trump about tariffs and how they would hurt the auto industry. Just last month, Bill Ford said the automaker's leadership was "spending a lot of time making sure that the administration understands the implications for our business."

Likewise, Farley said he has made a few trips to the nation's capital to educate legislators on the impact tariffs would have on the industry. He told investors, "Let's be real honest: Long term, a 25% tariff across the Mexico and Canada borders would blow a hole in the U.S. industry that we've never seen."....

Business leaders are going to spin worst-case scenarios, but it's worth noting that Trump has already started to back off on the auto tariffs. Probably too much complaining from his oligarch buddies.
