I notice our conservatives say nothing about The Economist points about Trump. That he will have no guardrails this time around. There won’t be any General Kellys to tell him no. It’s all going to be all MAGA, all the time. Going to put Robert Kennedy Jr. in charge of our health system, fer Chrissakes. Going to put Michael Flynn in charge of the military. And a Supreme Court that says he’s immune.
Going to have the military in charge of mass deportations in this nation, and he really doesn’t care if they are citizens or not, he’ll deport them.
He’s out for revenge and retribution, and you’re all “oh, that’s okay, no big deal”.
And if he wins, your time on this board will be spent telling us that whatever Trump does is just fine, much better than Harris would have done.
SCOTUS has not said any president has immunity including Trump. You are simply repeating the lies told you from your Dear Leaders.
As for your last paragraph you can't seem to get it through your head that nobody here supports Trump .
Just because people don't believe that Trump is Hitler that Trump is going to kill and imprison his opponents that Trump is going to turn troops on citizens that Trump is going to become a dictator, does not mean we support Trump.

First you are wrong nobody is blaming Harris for the now three assassination attempts on Trump, at least nobody here
What is being said is the rhetoric Trump is Hitler etc is what is a leading cause to the violence we have seen.
As for Trump’s hateful speech and rhetoric. Of course it coukd and probably has lead to violence. Only a hypocrite or a person of low intelligence would claim or believe that hateful rhetoric coming from one party is leading to violence but not the hateful rhetoric from the other.
Don't you agree
I guess you forget your private message to me. You've blamed OUR rhetoric for it.
From what I can tell, the Trump campaign is scared that they ARE losing, so they're going all in on "it's stolen".
Trump will probably declared victory as soon as the polls start to close, then file all kinds of lawsuits hoping to push it up to the Supreme Court so they can declare him the winner, no matter how big the margin for Harris turns out to be.
And I'm sure our conservatives will be completely happy with that.

You still can't wrap your head around the fact that nobody here is a Trump supporter.
You are like a life long racist who has had an image in the minds about black people.
Then one day meets some black people and sees that they really aren't any different than him.
Yet still can't come to grips with that fact.
You are so much like that you believe my family and friends who are voting for Trump are garbage.

Look, Trump and his campaign has been racist from day one. He’s the one who got the speaker who called Puerto Rico an island of floating garbage.
And all of you are here to defend and deflect for Trump. You can’t help yourselves. You all say he won’t do all the things he says he’ll do. Oh, no, you say, he’ll be fine. The GOP will stop him! The Supreme Court will stop him!
And if Harris wins, you’ll be supporting his court cases to overturn the election.

Thank you for proving my point
Yes, if your point is that the Trump campaign is nothing but racist and sexist, and the GOP supports him 100%.
He can call for deaths for Liz Cheney and for the Generals that he had in his administration, and you guys see NOTHING wrong with it - while you TRIED to blame his assassination attempts on Harris, AND you PM’d me and told me that I wished that the assassin HAD killed Trump.
im not a hunter, im sure liz knows how to handle a weapon living in WYOMING.
hey liz...im with you girl.

This is how dictators destroy free nations. They threaten those who speak against them with death. We cannot entrust our country and our freedom to a petty, vindictive, cruel, unstable man who wants to be a tyrant. #Womenwillnotbesilenced #VoteKamala

Trump on Liz Cheney: "Let's put her with a rifle standing there with 9 barrels shooting at her. Let's see how she feels about it. You know, when the guns are trained on her face."

You see? You can't even say, yeah, it's terrible that Trump is making death threats.
And you and I both know the things you PM'd me when you accused me of wanting to see Trump assassinated.
We are still waiting for you to make your swing state predictions. Which of course you can't make because it would require an actual opinion which didn't come from your Dear Leaders
I said you were disappointed and I believe I have said what Trump said was ignorant.
Now remember all the times you defended Maxine Waters

I have no interest in state-by-state predictions. I believe Harris will win, because she shares an inclusive vision for this country, for our Constitution.
And how the fuck DARE you think I - or anyone else on this board - would be disappointed that Trump didn't get his head blown off? It shows you don't understand where we are coming from at all.
You're projecting because that IS where YOUR side IS coming from. Hoping for - in Trump's case, planning for - the death of the opposition. And Maxine Waters said - ONCE - when speaking about VOTING that we need to take Trump out - out of office.
But you use that to defend Trump when he says that Liz Cheney should be facing a firing squad. Or that General Milley should be put to death.
To you, those things are perfectly acceptable. Because to you, we ARE the enemy within.

Of course you don't, that would require a personal opinion. As for Trump I don't feel comfortable talking about that issue. But, it is people like you who call him Hitler.

I don’t call him Hitler. I do say he adores Hitler, as he adores Putin and sends love letters to Kim.
He wants to kill his opponents and wants to jail reporters.
Funny how you DEMAND that I talk about something, but YOU run away because “you don’t feel comfortable”.
Glennfs wrote: ↑Mon Nov 04, 2024 6:53 am
Once again what I said went over your head. Nobody should feel comfortable talking about the demise of any living President.
Oh? Then why did you PM me, telling me that I was upset that Trump wasn't killed? You were perfectly comfortable doing that.
Trump is making death threats, and none of you are speaking out against it.
As I sit here on Monday morning waiting for a load offer it is very apparent that Harris has a much easier path to victory than Trump.
In order to win Trump has to win either Wisconsin or Michigan or Pennsylvania.
Late polls have them tied in Pennsylvania with Harris ahead in Michigan.
Personally I think he has a much better chance of winning Michigan than the other two.
If he loses all three he has no path to victory and the most he can hope for is 268-271.
Which is how I personally hope it ends with the republican party winning either the house or senate. If I had to pick one it would be the senate.
No matter who wins we are going to need no false claims of a mandate and many checks and balances for the next 4 years.
One thing that is for certain in the history of our country there has never been two less qualified candidates to choose from.
However considering that HW Bush was probably the best qualified candidate perhaps if all time. There is a chance that if Harris wins she could far out perform expectations and become a great president.
If someone from the future told me the election results I could believe anything from a landslide victory for either candidate to a popular and electoral vote tie right now.

I’m down to the simple solution of at least one chamber of Congress in opposition, regardless of who wins the presidency.

If Harris wins, she needs to be able to govern. All the GOP wants to do is block EVERYTHING. She deserves a Senate that will confirm her judges.
Let’s just remember that all the right wanted to do for eight years is block everything Obama did. That’s something that the Dems did NOT do to Reagan or either of the Bushes.

So if Trump wins you would want a democratic house to approve his judges.
