The four were on the state’s list of questionable registrations to be challenged by local elections officials.

AIKEN, S.C. (WJBF) – According to Dana Burden, Director of the Aiken County Board of Voter Registration and Elections, Liz Morris won the District 6 seat on the Aiken County Board of Education following Tuesday’s Special Election.

Director Burden reports that Morris received 321 votes, approximately 58.7% of the overall vote, while roughly 41.1% of the ballots went to her opponent James “Jim” Oremus, who received 225 votes.

Pulaalii Nikolao Pula and Pulu Ae Ae Jr are the winners of today’s gubernatorial run-off election.

Romania election results: Ultranationalist candidate scores stunning first round win

Romanian ultranationalist Călin Georgescu won the first round of presidential elections, according to official results published Monday afternoon.

Georgescu won with 22.94 percent of the vote. He was followed by liberal reformist candidate Elena Lasconi on 19.18 percent in second place, after she edged ahead of center-left Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu on 19.15 percent — a difference of just over 2,700 votes.
